1 in 3 people employed in the UK are owed a tax refund from the HMRC -

(that's the new name for the Inland Revenue.)

Who are these people?

Typically they fall into the categories listed opposite.

They're not the only ones though:-

Community Care Workers - Mechanics -

Those on the CIS Scheme -

Community Care Workers:-

These lovely people are involved in visiting their clients in their homes and looking after their basic needs. Often low paid and using their own car and thus spending a lot of money on petrol, they seldom realise that they are owed money by the Revenue. Why?

Because the Revenue allow these carers to claim 40p per mile for using their own car in visiting their clients. Now, some care agencies do pay a contribution towards the mileage, but I haven't found one yet that pays the maximum 40p per mile.

To illustrate:- If a carer receives a contribution of 20p per mile from their employer, they can still claim a refund based on the other 20p. Better still, the carer can claim back tax relief for the past SIX YEARS!.

If you are a community carer and you would like to find out if you are entitled to a tax refund just give me a call and I'll check for FREE whether you are entitled to this refund.

The average claim is worth £800, but some of my clients have received far more than that. (The most has been £3660)

Mechanics:-

These guys may have spent thousands of pounds building up their tool kit and many of them aren't reimbursed by their employer. It's been very difficult, but at last we have been able to get these guys a tax refund based on the cost of their tools, usually between 15-20% of the total cost going back 10 YEARS.

Incidentally, not one valid claim that we've handled has been rejected by the Revenue.

If you are an employed mechanic and you want to find out if you have a claim, just call 0800 043 2463 (Freephone) and I'll check for FREE whether you are entitled to claim.

C.I.S Workers:-

These guys often quite happily pay their tax through the CIS scheme, but most don't realise that in the majority of cases they pay too much tax. We can help thm get it back. If you want to call the freephone number 0800 043 2463 I'll check for NOTHING whether you are entitled to a refund.

Oh...nearly forgot........ This is Les Bennett and I am an independent agent for a specialist tax refund company. We work on a No Win - No Fee basis, so you have nothing to lose in finding out if you are owed a tax refund. If we act on your behalf you pay us nothing upfront. Our fee is taken from the refund we obtain. It's usually around 25% of the total amount received.

PS - If you would rather send your enquiry by email, that's fine ...just send it to taxrefunds@inbox.com
